The contempt of Anthony Morris: the face doesn't lie.
by freemindfade ini have noticed something even long before even looking into ttatt, something about morris bothered me.
i am personally very attuned to body language, facial expressions and general subtleties in human interaction.
there was something about his face that really bothered me, and i will explain it.

I can picture AM3 with his slightly concealed snarl and that snotty little tangy voice giving his talk about burnt hot dogs, or how jehovah hates and is disgusted by homosexuals that design cloths for eye candy. -

I think they wrote this letter because of some court cases they have pending in the British isles and they can use this to minimize damage to their assets, in other words 'damage control'.
Too little too late, well it is never too late for reform actually, none the less this letter is just a smoke screen and no hit of reform to it.

I was in the same entrance school at Bethel for Bethelites with Judah and his mom(dad also attended for about 2 times) and Joel Adams was the instructor.
Yeah he's got quite a beer belly from when I remember him and lots less hair.

Serve Jehovah get everlasting life don't serve get everlasting death
by Brokeback Watchtower injehovah's personality is explosive with no guarantees he won't blow a head gasket and destroy your ass for some petty offense.. i know the jws claim jehovah always keeps his word and once you get to heaven or pass the final test you got guaranteed everlasting life.
but when we look in the bible jehovah seems to kill even his worshipers over trifles, so who is to say that someday he won't get pissed off and destroy the whole human race and start all over again?.
while i don't believe the bible or what the wt corporation teaches about jehovah personality, if what they say is true then i would much rather die than live an eternity under the whims of such a capricious jehovah.. the reward system the bible has promoted is really terrible and not to be grasped at..

Freedom, Free speech, Censorship, Religion and Tight Pants
by Simon inyou would need to be living in a cave to not be aware of the turmoil happening in the world with groups like isis murdering cartoonists over their depiction of their prophet and sides being taken to either attack religion or to defend the right to practise it.. the battle lines appear to be drawn between those who believe in freedom and those who would see it curtailed to be replaced with their own version of what is and isnt acceptable.
most people want freedom and free speech but when choosing it are perhaps unconsciously judging it to only apply to things that they themselves believe in.. we need to be crystal clear what freedom and free speech were really talking about.
freedom itself is usually easier to define as there are some fundamental principles: you should be allowed to do what you want as long as you are not harming others.

Knowing the reality may help us focus our message and efforts a little better so that we don't squander our limited time and energy though.
Agreed. But reality is so hard to reach. None the less we need to sharpen our focus on what is truly important and what is just minutia. If you want to slow this cult down you need to sort out the trivia and home in on the the most vital, which takes quite a bit of introspection to avoid bias and wishful thinking, which I am guilty of.

I'm sure that deep down most people can agree with you on your basic points about freedom, but it is the nuances that many will have trouble with. -

Not at all. It was just an example of how we can blow things up out of proportion but also how it's something that's perfectly fine for someone to have as a belief just as it is for us not to believe it.
Excuse the misunderstanding. But the blowing out of proportion is a viewpoint issue.
I do agree we are entitled to a belief but we are also not to be sheltered from ridicule from such belief especially when we have become a figure of public attention.
